Red and black outfits, decadent yet energic gothic metal sound and catchy choruses: they have everything in place to easily make me their number one fan. I’ve only listened to a couple of songs and I’m already in love with their music. That’s a pretty good result.
“君のいない世界” (Kimi No Inai Sekai) is probably my favorite song, with those very Japanese-sounding vocal lines that have been stuck in my head for a week; dramatic strings, cursed guitars, powerful rhythms… Absolutely stunning. “NOT FRIEND” is equally fascinating, introducing some neo-classical harpsichord melodies and a bit melancholic yet somehow bright feelings; light and darkness seem to mix naturally in this song and the result is excellent.
I’m also grateful to Xidea for adding the two tracks’ lyrics to the video description and I recommend you to read them, they’re easily understandable even through automatic translators. Sins, flowers, apocalyptic sceneries… The stuff we all love.
That was an impressive start for Cinder-ella and I honestly can’t wait to buy some of their releases (which I hope are going to come soon). If you already know JyuJyu’s awesomeness, you won’t be disappointed with their sisters as well.
